Worplace Wellness at a glance
Healthy workplaces are built around people who feel supported, connected and able to do their best work. My Workplace Wellness services combine more than two decades of management and leadership experience with counselling, mediation and facilitation skills to support organisations from both the leadership and employee perspective.
I work with companies and teams on employee wellbeing, EAP support, team engagement, workplace relationships, conflict, stress and leadership support.
The aim is practical: to help people communicate more effectively, manage challenges earlier and create healthier working relationships that support both individual wellbeing and organisational performance.
A more indepth positioning
Healthy organisations recognise that their greatest asset is their people.
Whether employees are leading teams, managing projects, serving clients, writing applications, selling insurance, baking pies or washing cars, organisations ultimately rely on people to deliver on their commitments and achieve their objectives.
Yet balancing organisational performance with employee wellbeing has become increasingly complex.
Leaders are expected to deliver results, manage change, maintain engagement and navigate increasingly demanding environments. Employees are often balancing competing professional and personal pressures while trying to remain productive, connected and motivated.
My approach to company wellness is informed by more than 23 years of corporate leadership experience, combined with my work as a Specialist Wellness Counsellor and Mediator.
Having worked on both sides of the employment relationship, I understand the challenges organisations face from both a leadership and an employee perspective. I understand the pressure associated with delivering results, leading teams and implementing organisational change. Equally, I understand the importance of creating workplaces in which people feel supported, connected and valued.
Many of the principles that strengthen individuals and relationships in counselling are equally applicable within organisations. Communication, trust, emotional intelligence, resilience, conflict management and psychological safety influence not only personal wellbeing but also team effectiveness and organisational performance.
Creating and sustaining engaged teams is one of the most challenging aspects of leadership. There is no universal formula. Every organisation has its own culture, values, communication patterns, leadership style and team dynamics.
For this reason, my approach is never based on a standardised wellness programme.
I work collaboratively with organisations to understand their unique challenges, identify the factors influencing team engagement and wellbeing, and develop interventions that are aligned with both their people and their strategic objectives.
The goal is simple: to create healthier, more resilient and more connected workplaces where people can perform at their best while organisations continue to grow and succeed.
